We left of in the church in the aftermath of the attack.
As we leave the church, we see an angry mob moving toward the Burgomaster's house. When the mob gets there, they start pounding on the door and some of them smash the windows and throw torches inside. Edward tries talking to them to calm them down and Calenya pushes into the crowd and starts herding everyone away from the door. After a bit the Burgomaster and his wife flee the (now burning) house through the window. Edward restrains the mob and we (and the mob) discuss the Burgomaster being deposed. Lady Fiona Wachter shows up and offers to take over the job of Burgomaster, but we ask for an election instead.
We ask the Burgomaster to take us to the prisoners he kept, but he just leads us around in circles. Eventually he confesses that there are no prisoners, he just left them in the woods outside of town and they've probably all died by now.
We return to the tavern, where Edward puts himself up for election. We also plan to get Rictavio elected and message him to return to the village asap. Edward gives a great speech on why he should be chosen. Lady Fiona Wachter immediately follows with her own speech. In the end Edward gained 40% of the votes, but lady Fiona Wachter won with 55%, and she may not be happy with us for trying to stand in her way. Rictavio ends up being too late to join the election, but does show up. The old Burgomaster will be put in the stocks as punishment.
The next day we borrow Rictavio's cart and head for the Wizards of Wine. On the way we want to stop at the Vistani camp to see if they will sell us a map. At the camp, we see passed out (drunk) Vistani and a young man bound to a pole getting whipped by another man, with a third guy watching (Luvash & Arrigal). Luvash says the young man was supposed to watch his sister Arabella, but she ran off anyway.
QUEST: Save Arabelle
We decide to search for the girl and follow her footprints toward Lake Zarovich. On the lake we see a boat with a tall man holding a fishing pole in it. Edward flies us toward him to ask if he's seen Arabella. At that moment the man throws a heavy sack, that seems like it might contain a small girl, in the water. Calenya manages to dive after the sack and she and Lua are able to revive the girl. We return her to her brother at the Vistani camp and in return he gives us a map. He also mentions they received a letter 3 days ago describing us and telling them we are to be killed. It was signed by "W".
